One of theLIFTs first startup clients, ContentScan wanted to create an online tool to deliver discipline-specific information services that would keep professionals and students on the leading edge of knowledge in their profession. theLIFT worked with early executive teams to develop and evolve the content "dome" concept, design, marketing materials, UX, and interactive tutorials for the product. ContentScan received early funding from the Singh family and was later acquired by ProQuest.
After the acquisition of Content Scan, ProQuest approached theLIFT to help develop a new web-based community site for graduate students seeking advice from their peers and experts. Working with the ProQuest team, theLIFT constructed wireframe concept models, followed by the design and ongoing development of the portal live at GradShare.com.
The portal is now active in over 90% of Graduate schools in the US.
